How Its Different

Unlike traditional waxes, you dont need to dry the surface of your vehicle after washing to apply the Prestone Water Activated Wax. Immediately begin applying the wax with the supplied applicator pad. The water droplets actually help with application as it lubricates the applicator and reduces the effort needed when applying the wax. The Prestone Water Activated Wax also eliminates the traditional wax process of waiting for the wax to completely dry and then buff off with a rag. Immediately after the wax is applied, simply take your garden hose and spray off the excess wax. The water spray does the buffing for you. Theres no need to towel dry as the water literally rolls of the surface. With Prestone Water Activated Wax, youll achieve the shine and protection from the elements that would have taken you hours traditionally.

How It Works

The Prestone Water Activated Wax unique spray-away formula is an emulsion of silicone and carnauba wax. When applied, the carnauba wax is strongly attracted to your vehicles surface, bonding on a molecular level. The molecules of the pre-softened wax spread out to form a continuous glossy layer, while filling in tiny micro-scratches along the way. The silicone enables the water spray to do the buffing for you, and aides in drying by repelling the water from the car surface. Goes on clean, comes off clean, minimal elbow grease required.
